Mid-Level Provider

Position: Mid-Level Provider (Full-time and part-time)
Pay Rate: $111,000 annually
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Saturday

Overview: Under the supervision of a physician, diagnoses and treats a variety of diseases and injuries in general practice by performing the following duties.

General Duties (include but are not limited to):

  • Renders medical care to patients including examination, diagnosis, treatment and referral to appropriate physicians or agencies. All medical care will be provided under the established policies, procedures and protocols of Waikiki Health
  • Maintains accurate and thorough medical records through chart documentation. Completes medical forms as required by government agencies and Waikiki Health policy
  • Maintains current licensure
  • Collaborates in planning and participates in teaching clients, families, paraprofessionals, medical students, residents, nursing students and other health care professionals

Qualifications and Abilities:

  • Graduate of a certified Physician Assistant (PA) program
  • One year of work experience as a PA in a primary clinic preferred
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Hawaii
  • Valid BLS certification
