As of October 1, 2025, Mary Beth was appointed Interim CEO of Waikiki Health, expanding her leadership responsibilities to oversee the organization’s overall operations.

As Waikiki Health’s Director of Marketing & Development and a member of the agency’s leadership team, Mary Beth is responsible for fundraising activities at the local, state and national levels. Her work involves collaboration with government entities, corporate giving programs, private trusts and foundations, as well as securing donor gifts from individuals and businesses.

She also leads efforts to raise brand awareness through local media, including press coverage in print, television, social media, email campaigns, and traditional direct mail. Additionally, she is charged with marketing and promoting Waikiki Heath’s mission throughout the business community.

Mary Beth’s more than 25-year career as a business leader includes holding positions in both Hawaii and Arizona with American City Business Journals, the parent company of Pacific Business News (PBN) and The Phoenix Business Journal. From 2009 to 2012, she served as Publisher of PBN, overseeing the company’s editorial content, advertising, business operations, and staff.

Deeply committed to community service, Mary Beth serves as a volunteer board member and Public Relations Chair for three Hawaii nonprofit organizations. In these roles, she spearheads public relations efforts, utilizing her media expertise to promote community awareness and engagement.

Mary Beth is a graduate of Western State Colorado University. Her previous experience includes working as a stockbroker for an investment firm.
